Justin Timberlake Applauds *NSYNC’s Coachella Reunion With Ariana Grande: ‘You Guys Killed It’

Justin Timberlake took to social media Monday (April 15) to show that he has nothing but love for four-fifths of *NSYNC reuniting during Ariana Grande’s headlining Coachella set.

During the show, the rest of the beloved boy band reunited to perform “Makes Me Ill” (part of which is featured in the bridge of Ari’s No. 2 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’’) and their classic 1998 smash “Tearin' Up My Heart,” sans Timberlake.

Reposting a photo of his bandmates grinning with Ariana after their surprise performance Sunday night, the pop star wrote, “You guys killed it last night,” along with a celebratory raised-hands emoji.

At least one of his bandmates took notice of the post, with Chris Kirkpatrick commenting, “Was a lot of fun but @justintimberlake was [definitely] missed! Love you brother.” Meanwhile Diddy — another special guest during Ariana’s set — left a cryptic watermelon emoji in the comments.

The last time *NSYNC reunited publicly was to receive their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in April 2018. While it remains unclear why Justin was missing from the fun on Sunday night, the superstar did wrap up his 115-show Man of the Woods Tour the night before at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
