Julian Casablancas' independent label Cult Records has signed a new deal with digital distribution and marketing service ONErpm. The partnership's first release will be “Personal Reflektor,” the first single from Australian musician Promiseland’s forthcoming debut album set for release on Cult Records in 2020.

"Looking forward to the new partnership with ONErpm for the next chapter of Cult Records,” Casablancas said in a statement. “Look out for a lot of new, iconic, culture-shaping music on the way soon…no big deal."

Cult Records was launched in 2009 by Casablancas — lead singer of The Strokes and The Voidz — as an independent vehicle for his solo output before branching out to other artists. In addition to Casablancas’ two bands, the label’s roster includes Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O and “beach goth” band The Growlers.

“We are thrilled to partner with Julian and his amazing team as they celebrate the 10th anniversary of Cult Records,” added ONErpm’s vp of A&R Michelle Fantus. “With such an iconic catalog and new releases in the pipeline, ONErpm will help amplify Cult Records' global reach through strategic marketing, promotion, and distribution efforts.”
