Juice WRLD’s Death Race for Love is likely to spend a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, according to industry forecasters. Those in the know suggest that the set could earn around 65,000 to 75,000 equivalent album units in the week ending March 21.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the March 30-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Death Race may hold at No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s websites on Sunday, March 24.
Death Race started at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated March 23, earning 165,000 units in its first week, according to Nielsen Music. It marked the first No. 1 for the hip-hop star, and third top 10.
Death Race could lead a very sedate top 10 on next week’s chart, as the rest of the region is likely to be devoid of debuts. Ariana Grande’s former No. 1 Thank U, Next, could end up in the runner-up slot (with maybe 60,000), while Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born soundtrack (also a former leader) may finish at No. 3.
