Juice WRLD Tribute: Migos, Big Sean, Trippie Redd, SoFaygo & More Praise Late Rapper’s Greatness

As the city of Chicago gets ready to pay their respects to the late Juice WRLD for their inaugural “Juice WRLD Day” celebration on Thursday (December 9), Montreality brought together some of today’s biggest rappers to speak on the impact Juice had on rap music.

The video features appearances from SoFayGo, SSGKobe, Lil Durk, Brent Faiyaz, Big Sean, Migos and more as they all speak on how Juice changed rap forever.

“I remember when Juice first released ‘All Girls Are The Same,’” SoFayGo said to kick off the tribute. “One of my friends had sent me the link to that shit and they was like ‘yo, you gotta listen to this shit, this shit is crazy right here.’ And I listened to it I was like, damn, like he one of the only n-ggas that’s talking about how he really feel right now.”

The eight-minute tribute shows just how loved Juice was by the rap community. Lil Durk said he had “Kanye-type” energy, while Big Sean called his talent “tremendous.”

“I think his impact is definitely prevalent like no bullshit,” Brent Faiyaz said of the rapper. “I feel like to be on this earth for such a short amount of time and be able to impact that many people, that’s special.”

The “Juice WRLD Day” celebration is taking place at Chicago’s United Center Arena, where all who gather will be able to listen to Juice’s upcoming posthumous release Fighting Demons, which drops Friday (December 10) and is set to include features from Eminem, Polo G and more.

Fans who attend the event will also get to preview HBO’s upcoming Juice WRLD documentary titled JUICE WRLD: INTO THE ABYSS.

“There was nothing Jarad ‘Juice WRLD’ Higgins enjoyed more than delivering new music to his millions of fans around the world,” Juice’s mother Carmella Wallace wrote in a joint statement with Grade A Productions. “Jarad was always searingly honest about his struggles and through his musical genius he articulated what was on his heart and mind vividly through his art. He never gave up and his friends and family never gave up on offering their support to him.”
