Tragedy struck this past weekend when Nipsey Husslewas murdered in front of his store in Los Angeles. The news struck a chord with the entire hip-hop community, as well as the sports community. Countless celebrities have been paying their respects to the artist and philanthropist, saying he was one of the best people they ever met and that they want his legacy to live on. One of the people making sure Hussle is forever immortalized is Cleveland Cavaliers player JR Smith. Smith is known for being tatted up and made sure to get one more in honor of the late rapper.

Taking to Instagram with the hashtag #LongLiveNip, Smith showed the world that he got a tattoo of Nipsey's face on himself. The tattoo is ultrarealistic and captures Nipsey's face perfectly. Fans in the comments praised Smith for his touching tribute and even joked that it was his only good tattoo.

Smith hasn't been the only NBA player offering tributes to Hussle and his legacy. Just last night, Russell Westbrook scored 20-20-20 in a triple-double, becoming the first player to do it since Wilt Chamberlain back in 1968. Teams like the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors have offered some touching tributes as well.
