Jonas Brothers log a second week at the summit of Australia’s singles chart with “Sucker” (Island/Universal), while Ariana Grande enters a fifth non-consecutive stint atop the national albums survey.
"Sucker," the first song from Kevin, Joe and Nick since 2013, is now gold certified (35,000 units) in Australia, where it’s easily the trio’s best-performing single. Until "Sucker" dropped in at No. 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart three weeks ago, Jonas Brothers’ previous chart peak was No. 31 for “Burnin’ Up” from October 2008.
The former Disney stars lead an all-U.S. top five as Post Malone snags Nos. 2 and 3 with “Sunflower” ( Universal, featuring Swae Lee) and “Wow” (Universal), Ariana Grande’s former chart leader “7 Rings” (Universal) holds at No. 4 and Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’sA Star Is Born hit “Shallow” (Interscope/Universal ) remains at No. 5.
U.S. singer and rapper Dominic Fike sees his debut chart entry “3 Nights” (Columbia/Sony) rise 9-8, a new high, while Lauv & Troye Sivan’s “I’m So Tired…” (KOB) climbs 17-11, a new peak position in its eighth week on the chart.
Also this week, there are new peaks for Pink’s “Walk Me Home” (RCA/Sony), up 14-12, and Khalid’s “My Bad” (RCA/Sony), which is up 30-18 and is one of four lead artist tracks the R&B singer has in this week’s top 50, along with “Talk” (No. 9), “Better” (No. 3) and “Saturday Nights” (No. 50).
The highest new entry on the current frame is “Here With Me” (Universal), EDM star Marshmello’s collab with Scottish electro-pop outfit Chvrches. It’s new at No. 35.
As Ariana Grande extends her chart supremacy with Thank U, Next, country star Luke Combs enjoys a new high with This One’s For You (Columbia/Sony), which jumps 19-7 in its 41st week on the chart.
Following their latest lap of Australia, Eagles swoop into the chart at No. 8 with their career-spanning effort Selected Works 1972-1999 (Rhino/Warner). The collection first charted in 2014, and twice peaked at No. 11.
And finally, after taking the crown in the U.K. with Singing To Strangers (BMG/Warner), English singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti has the highest new entry this week on the ARIA Albums Chart. It’s new at No. 23.
