It’s official, Joe Biden will be seeking the US presidency in a bid to outmuscle Bernie Sanders and others as the Democrat’s lead representative in 2020. Biden revealed his intentions in a campaign video issued to the Associated Press. Biden is noted for the uncanny chemistry he displayed with Barack Obama as the former president’s second in command.

“The core values of this nation, our standing in the world, our very democracy, everything that has made America, America, is at stake,” Biden stated in his campaign launch video. “That’s why today I’m announcing my candidacy for President of the United States.”
According to CNN, Biden has a fundraising event lined up in Philadelphia where he is expected to outline the compact version of his political platform, A few days later, Biden is set to appear on The View in a less formal setting, whereas on May 18 he will “lay out his vision” at a rally held in Philadelphia. He joins Kamala Harris, Beto O’Rourke, Bernie Sanders, Cory Booker, and Kirsten Gillibrand in a crowded race for lead position heading into 2020.
