Jenny Lewis ‘Deeply Troubled’ by Ryan Adams’ Alleged Sexual Misconduct

Jenny Lewis has spoken out in response to the sexual and emotional misconduct allegations towards longtime musical collaborator Ryan Adams.

Lewis, who simply unveiled her new tune "Heads Gonna Roll" (on which Adams has a manufacturing credit score) this week, launched the next assertion on Twitter Friday night time (Feb. 15): "I'm deeply troubled by Ryan Adams’ alleged habits. Although he and I had a working skilled relationship, I stand in solidarity with the ladies who've come ahead."

Adams beforehand produced Lewis' The Voyager album (2014), and the pair have toured collectively.

An exposé revealed by the New York Times on Feb. 13 accuses Adams of sexual misconduct, emotional abuse and manipulative habits by a lot of feminine musicians, together with his ex-wife Mandy Moore and rising artist Phoebe Bridgers. One allegation comes from a feminine referred to as Ava, who says she started speaking to Adams on-line when she was solely 14 years outdated.
