JAY-Z Debuts 'The Trayvon Martin Story' Docuseries Trailer

This previous Monday (Feb. 26) was the sixth anniversary Trayvon Martin’s dying by the hands George Zimmerman who shot and killed him in Sanford, Fla. Martin’s unjust dying sparked the Black Lives Matter motion and now a documentary about his life story.

JAY-Z has partnered with Paramount Network to produced a docuseries referred to as Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, primarily based on the life and legacy Trayvon Martin. The six-part non-scripted documentary sequence will element the circumstances surrounding Martin’s dying and Zimmerman’s acquittal on a second-degree homicide cost, which sparked protests and outrage worldwide.

The docuseries relies on the ebook, Rest in Power: The Enduring Life Trayvon Martin, which was co-written by Martin's mother and father, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, who function govt producers on the tv undertaking. JAY-Z can also be an govt producer together with Julia Willoughby Nason, Nick Sandow, Chachi Senior, Jenner Furst and Michael Gasparro.
