Clad in an all-black pantsuit (and no sneakers), the worldwide icon honoree set the desk properly together with her newest single "Made For Now" sans Daddy Yankee. While performing atop an elevated stage with drummers and torch carriers alongside her, the legendary hyphenate later segued into her traditional 2001 single "All For You."
To conclude her buoyant three-song set, Jackson punctuated her scorching efficiency with "Rhythm Nation."
After taking the stage, Jackson later gave an empowering speech urging ladies to face up fearlessly to injustice.
“I really feel moved to talk for girls’s voices who’ve been stifled,” she stated. “I’m a type of ladies. Women who’ve been gagged, each actually and emotionally. Women who’ve been abused. Women who’ve been intimidated. Women who’ve lived in concern."
