James Corden Isn't Up to 'Rock and Roll All Nite' as Kiss' Exhausted Fifth Member In 'Late Late Show' Performance: Watch


James Corden joined Kiss for a run by means of the band's legendary 1975 hit “Rock and Roll All Nite” on The Late Late Show on Monday night time (Nov. 5). But because it turns out, he has a really completely different concept of partying than the ageless greasepaint rockers. Corden, carrying his personal customized silvery costume and face paint, modified the lyrics of the headbanger to mirror the mundane woes of somebody who's getting older and simply isn't up for all that late night time motion.

Kiss’s new fifth member sported a black wig, white face paint and gaudy prime to match the remainder of the band. Gene Simmons' electrical guitar blared as he growled, “You present us the whole lot you’ve bought/ You carry on dancin’ and the room will get scorching/ You drive us wild/ We’ll drive you loopy.”

Corden cautiously broke into his verse: “More than two drinks is a giant mistake/ Can’t go to sleep and get the worst headache/ I bought work tomorrow/ Let’s not get loopy.”  

The rockers took none of Corden's excuses. They jammed collectively, “I wanna rock and roll all night time/ And occasion daily,” as Corden marveled on the pyrotechnics and lights, briefly giving in to the thrill throughout.

But Corden couldn't assist stressing all of the issues his middle-aged self finds enjoyable, together with studying on the bathroom, watching Ken Burns documentaries and . Despite this, Kiss stored rocking to the tip, even when Corden complained that they wanted to maintain the noise down.

Kiss embarks on their farewell tour Jan. 31 in Vancouver, Canada, and can hold the enjoyable firing by means of Dec. three, 2019, in Auckland, New Zealand.
