Plus there’s a dance tutorial video to learn the routine.
James Corden is never afraid of a little song-and-dance. The Late Late Show host was in his element during the cold open of Monday night's (May 20) prime time "Carpool Karaoke" special, during which he parodied Lizzo's "Juice," by showing off how much petrol he had in the tank for his temporary jump out of late night.
"Movin' to a primer time/ We're doin' it up at 10," he sang as he moved to the rooftop of the studio for the big chorus. "We're in prime time and the place about to blow/ Trust me, you don't even know, got a very special show," he added, surrounded by dancers and band leader Reggie Watts.
He plugged the special's 14-minute "Carpool Karaoke" with Celine Dion during the two-minute, hard-funkin' tune that ended with a giant dance routine on his show's stage. He also invited Emmy-nominated choreographer Chloe Arnold and Ava Bernstein on to teach the "Ya-Ye-EE" dance they created for the special as a bonus video online.
