James Bay unveiled an intimate music video for his latest single “Peer Pressure,” featuring Julia Michaels, on Friday (March 29).
The video depicts the duo singing the romantic pop track to each other on a bare stage with a layer of cool-toned constellations and other cosmic imagery cascading over them while a slow-motion, 360-degree camera gives it an extra-intimate feel.
“Put your hands on my body just like you think you know me/ Want your heart beating on me, don't leave me hot and lonely/ I don't usually give in to peer pressure/ But I'll give in to yours,” they enticingly harmonize on the chorus.
The music video for “Peer Pressure” comes out a week after Bay released the live video, with Michaels and him performing a stripped-down acoustic version of the song in the same setting.
The English singer is currently touring the U.S. this month and will end his headlining tour in Seattle on April 3. Bay will join Ed Sheeran on his European stadium tour this summer.
