Jake Troth Gets Romantic in Scenic ‘All Over The World’ Exclusive

Singer-songwriter Jake Troth has unveiled the video for his new track “All Over The World,” premiering exclusively on Billboard Tuesday (Sept. 24).

Troth, who’s penned tracks for artists like Lizzo, Kehlani and Sia, plays the role of troubadour in the clip, strumming his guitar and name-dropping far-flung destinations as an intimate wedding takes place around him at a remote lake in the mountains.

“Infinity pools above Singapore/ Sippin’ coffee up 57 floors/ You and me and me and you/ Port of Miami to Timbuktu/ Love can take us to some fascinating places/ Love can take us all over the world,” he croons from a boat on the lake as the nervous bride prepares to walk down the aisle.

“‘All Over The World’ is me being influenced by Frank Sinatra and the old variety shows of the ‘50s and ‘60s,” Troth tells Billboard. “The song tips a cap to the old Brazilian bossa nova scene and was written years ago on my grandmother’s farm in rural North Carolina as I daydreamed of one day being a globetrotting musician.”

The new track is featured on Troth’s debut album, It Is As If, which was released Sept. 13 Atlantic Records. Starting next month, the singer-songwriter will embark on a Sofar Sounds tour across the U.S.
