Imagine Dragons singer Dan Reynolds is finally living a pain-free life and enjoying the results his lifestyle changes. On Monday (July 2) the singer opened up about his health and living with the auto immune disease Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) by posting shirtless before and after pictures on Instagram and Twitter.

“I've spent a decade fighting an auto immune disease that inflamed my joints (AS). I now live pain free, am in full remission and am the healthiest I've ever been. I owe it to this man to personal trainer] Brad Feinberg,” explained Reynolds on social media. “Correct diet, vitamins, and exercise. I'll share it all with you soon. It's been life changing for me.”

The immense pain Reynolds faced forced him to cancel shows during the start the band's mainstream success. “It was beyond the pain that you feel when it's just a back ache. It felt like something was drilling my nerves,” he said. “I couldn't get on stage. I couldn't move, I couldn't sleep at night, I couldn't perform without standing perfectly still. I couldn't sit down for more than a half an hour.”

After reworking his life, exercise, and nutrition the “Believer” singer finally overcame all the pain that held him back from being the performer and person he waned to be. After hearing the news about her pal's health, pop star Pink sent Reynolds a congratulatory message over Twitter.
