Iggy Azalea Asks Fans to ‘Cut Me Some Extra Slack’ After EP Delay

Iggy Azalea is coming under fire by fans for the delay of her upcoming EP, Wicked Lips.
On Sunday (Nov. 24), the 29-year-old rap star addressed fans' frustration about the delay of EP, which was scheduled to drop on Nov. 22.
"Please cut me some extra slack guys, I hear your frustration about the EP delay," Azalea tweeted. "Im not ignoring your questions because I don’t care. sometimes I cant give fans explanations because I’m Just not comfortable sharing everything publicly. I appreciate you guys understanding."
The EP delay comes a day after it was reported that Azalea and her boyfriend Playboi Carti were robbed of $366,000 worth of jewelry from their rental home in Atlanta.
Earlier this year, the Aussie rapper dropped her heavily anticipated sophomore album, In My Defense. About a year prior to the album release, Azalea left her then-label Island Records and signed a multi-year partnership with EMPIRE.
