Latin Music Week is just around the corner, and now we can announce that artists and 2019 Billboard Latin Music Award finalists Anitta, Natti Natasha, Karol G and Lali will headline this year’s “Women in the Lead” panel.
The four singers, who individually represent a new generation of chart-topping female artists redefining Latin music with their distinctive and successful sounds, will join marketing guru Luana Pagani; Universal Music Publishing Group president, Latin America/U.S. Latin Alexandra Lioutikoff; and USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative’s Dr. Stacy Smith.
“Our ‘Women in the Lead’ panel is not only powerful; it is an agent of change,” says Leila Cobo, Billboard’s Vice President and Latin Industry Lead. “We look forward to again having a marquee group of women who make a difference.”
The group of trailblazing women, who join previously announced conference guests Juan Luis Guerra, Wisin & Yandel, Anuel AA, Lele Pons and the Rivera family, will take the stage Wednesday, April 24, for an in-depth discussion moderated by Cobo.
Returning for its 29th year, Latin Music Week features Q&A sessions and panels, including its signature "Star Q&As,” as well as panels focusing on streaming, videos, both mainstream and Latin collaborations and more. Registration to the conference will give attendees access to three days of panels, one-on-one sessions, and showcases, plus tickets to the Billboard Latin Music Awards, which will air live on Telemundo on April 25.
