Beyond Spanish-language, the awards were the No. 1 program, regardless of language, in Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Houston among adults 18-49.
On social media, the 2019 Billboard Latin Music Awards ranked as the No 1 most social non-sports program of the day across all broadcast and cable networks. On the day of the show, it generated over 1.7 million global actions on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and 19 million global views on social platforms, becoming a worldwide trending topic.
The big winner of the evening was Billboard cover artist Ozuna, who took home 11 awards, including artist of the year, and set a record for most awards won in one year.
