Elephante feat. Nevve, "Otherside"
Ann Arbor, Michigan, native and Los Angeles-based producer Elephante (Tim Wu) storms onto Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (dated Feb. 2) at No. 36 with "Otherside," that includes singer Nevve. It's Elephante's fourth entry (and Nevve's first); his final, "The In Between" (that includes Anjulie), grew to become his first high 10, reaching No. eight in September. "Otherside," the newest from Elephante's Glass Mansion (a No. 12 hit in June on Dance/Electronic Album Sales), earns airplay from core-dance associates together with Music Choice's Dance/EDM channel, WCPY Chicago, IL and iHeartRadio's Evolution community (as monitored on WFLZ-HD Tampa, Florida), in line with Nielsen Music.
DJs From Mars, "Gam Gam"
Italian DJ duo DJs From Mars (Luca Emanuele Ventafridda and Massimiliano Garino) debut on Dance Club Songs at No. 42 with "Gam Gam." It's the act's second look, following "Somewhere Above the Clouds" (No. 15 in September). "Gam," initially a Jewish kids's melody written by Elie Botbol in honor of Holocaust victims, was remixed by Federico Scavo, HK, and MARAUD3R, amongst others.
Paris-based producer DANGER (aka Franck Rivoire) debuts at No. 12 on Dance/Electronic Album Sales with Origins. It's the act's second look, following Greatest Drum (No. 9, June 2017). DANGER additionally beforehand hit the (now-defunct) Dance Singles Sales chart, reaching No. 6 in February 2010 with "4h 30." The Frenchman's Danger North America Tour 2019 continues by way of February.
