As Khalid reigns supreme with his sophomore album Free Spirit at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and the hip-hop community's support for Nipsey Hussle remains unwavering -- his single "Racks in the Middle" zooms to No. 26 on this week's Billboard Hot 100 -- emerging artists Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby and Polo G make notable moves on the lower reaches of the Billboard charts with their first career Hot 100 entries.

Megan Thee Stallion Gallops Onto the Hot 100

Earlier this year, Billboard named Houston star Megan Thee Stallion as one of our 11 promising talents to watch out for in 2019. With the first quarter completed, Megan is making noise with her titillating single "Big Ole Freak." The single has garnered 6 million views on YouTube and this week enters the Hot 100 at No. 99. At 24, the vocally gifted MC has the razor-sharp delivery to potentially lead a new era of hip-hop.

DaBaby's "Suge" Soars 24 Spots

One of the biggest winners on this week's Hot 100 comes courtesy of Charlotte's DaBaby, with his breakout song "Suge." The booming single pays homage to former Death Row Records CEO Marion "Suge" Knight and jumps from No. 87 to No. 63 this week. After a month, the visual for "Suge," which comes from DaBaby's acclaimed mixtape Baby on Baby, sits at 21 million views on YouTube. As we inch closer to June, can "Suge" wheel its way into contention for song of the summer? With co-signs from the likes of T.I. and J. Cole, DaBaby has enough support to march his way into that battle.

Polo G Reps Chicago's New Generation of Rap

Chicago continues to be a hotbed for rising talents, with 20-year-old Polo G the latest to carry the city's baton. After debuting on the Hot 100 at No. 95 with "Pop Out" featuring Lil Tjay, Polo G's hard-nosed anthem zips its way to No. 89 this week. The Columbia Records signee's penchant for street records has been warmly accepted by the masses, as his tracks "Battle Cry" and "Finer Things" sit well over 20 million views on YouTube.
