Cardi B and Chance the Rapper joined T.I. for the latest episode of his expediTIously podcast on Tuesday, as the trio has been running around doing press together in support of Netflix's music competition show Rhythm + Flow. When politics became the topic of discussion, both Cardi and Chance agreed that it's looking like Donald Trump will be re-elected come 2020.

“I really hate to say it, but sometimes I do believe that Trump will be winning," Cardi admitted. Chano feels that Trump has the largest fanbase out of all the candidates, which could lead him to victory. Cardi delved further into her reasoning by bringing up the fact that she doesn't see people rallying behind one specific Democratic candidate.

"Just because due to the fact that every single time I don’t see nobody saying they love a Democratic candidate," she explained. "There’s no candidate that people are saying like we love, we want them to win.” In the past, Cardi has voiced her support for senator Bernie Sanders, as she's sat down with him to speak on certain issues she'd like to see changed in America.

“I really want to do it with every candidate but I just didn’t have time. I really wanted some of my fans to ask questions that they would like a candidate to answer. And I’ve really been a fan of Bernie’s for a long time,” Cardi stated. "I always felt like he was really passionate, and I had to ask him, ‘A lot of people think that the things that you’re going to do is not possible, you’re too progressive, it’s not possible.'"

Cardi also believes that Trump has duped a lot of his base into voting not in their best interests, but to keep minorities and the marginalized people of America down. "Every single time he always talk about how he wants to take away Medicare and sh-- like that," she continued. "A poor white man that’s getting Medicare is not even caring that he’s saying that -- he just cares that he hates Mexicans and he want to get rid of them."
