Kim Kardashian turned 39 on Monday (Oct. 22). To celebrate his wife's birthday, not only did Kanye West host a dinner with the rest of the Kardahian clan at their home, but he and their four kids donated $1,000,000 in Kim's name to a few of her favorite charities supporting criminal justice reform.
"I got amazing gifts from my whole family and Kanye for me the most amazing bags," she wrote. "But he also donated $1 million to my favorite charities that work so hard on prison reform on my behalf from him and the kids. This makes my heart so happy!"
The charities that were part of the donation include Cut 50, Buried Alive Project, Equal Justice Initiative, and the Anti-Recidivism Coalition. Kim has been lauded for her work in the community when it comes to criminal justice; she's currently working on receiving her law degree and following in her late father's footsteps to become a lawyer.
As far as what was on the menu as the party, West had Kardashian's favorite Armenian restauarant cater the gathering, which was followed by a beignet truck and churro stand.
West is slated to drop his much-delayed Jesus Is King album on Friday (Oct. 25) after confirming the release date.
