Ellen DeGeneres has a way putting people on the spot, and it wasn't any different when supermodel Heidi Klum appeared on Tuesday's (Sept. 11) episode The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Happily dating Tom Kaulitz for the past six months, Klum shared the story how the couple met, praising how the Tokio Hotel rocker — who's also German — is the first man to truly understand her. Despite the happy relationship, DeGeneres didn't miss the chance to remind Klum her February Ellen appearance where she played a game "Who Would You Rather?" and admitted having a crush on Drake.
After seeing the segment, Drake apparently got Klum’s number through a mutual friend and asked the supermodel on a date.
“Someone who I know knows him, and I guess he asked to have my number, and then he texted me. And I was like, 'Oh my gosh, this is so weird.' But then I never texted him back because I found the love my life,” she told the host. “Sorry, Drake. You snooze, you lose. You know what I mean? He was basically like a week too late.”
“Wait, he texted you and you didn’t even respond?” DeGeneres asked, shocked.
“No. I mean, what do you do?” Klum said. “I’m embarrassed about it. Drake, I’m sorry I didn’t text you back — you’re cool. I still love your music! I’ll probably come to the concerts very soon!"
Klum also discussed leaving Project Runway after 16 seasons and the new Amazon fashion reality series she's developing with longtime co-host Tim Gunn.
