Harry Styles & Stevie Nicks Melt Hearts at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony: See the Reactions

Stevie Nicks was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with a little help from her friend (and one of her most vocal admirers), Harry Styles, on Friday night (March 29). A tidal wave of affection then proceeded to crash through the internet thanks to their adorable camaraderie.

Between Styles' worshipful remarks when he formally inducted Nicks into the organization (this time as a solo performer, as she was already inducted with Fleetwood Mac in 1998) and their surprise duet of Nicks' collaboration with Tom Petty, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," the audience — both in Brooklyn's Barclays Center and tuning in at home or online — eagerly responded to their endearing connection.

Many were in agreement that Nicks and Styles have a mother-son vibe going on, all caps tweets flooded Twitter over select quotes from Styles' moving speech and pics of Styles taking a knee to present Nicks with her honor were almost as prevalent as footage from the performance itself.

Though Nicks accidentally identified Styles as a member of NSYNC vs. One Direction at the event's press conference, the flub was easy to forgive: as one Twitter user decided, "if stevie nicks says harry styles is from nsync then he is from nsync. we're gonna adjust for her."
