Halsey will not be afraid to face up for what she believes in. 

Sending a robust message of power to all ladies (and males), the singer made her voice heard at Glamour's 2018 Women of the Year Summit on Sunday (Nov. 11) with the debut of a poem titled "An Inconvenient Woman."

In all its candidness, the compelling poem contemplated the plain variations between women and men within the workspace and at residence, concerning subjects of melancholy, gender roles and, because the title suggests, being "an inconvenient lady."

Halsey conveyed the concept the identical qualities that make society contemplate a person to be a “genius,” trigger a lady to be labeled as an "inconvenience." She candidly narrated a sequence of conditions in a lady's life the place females are both seen as much less succesful than males or imagined to do no matter pleases their accomplice. 

"You weren't placed on this earth to make all people else’s life simpler. So please, be inconvenient," the 24-year-old mentioned.
