H.E.R. Connects With YBN Cordae For ‘Racks’: Listen

H.E.R. reunites with YBN Cordae for their official debut collaboration in "Racks." The stirring tune was previously announced by the Grammy winning singer earlier in June, and serves as H.E.R.'s first single release of 2019.

H.E.R. recites her love for stacking money in unique fashion. Even if she spends big, it's only a matter of time until the 21-year-old singer gets it right back. "They don’t understand, they don’t know how to get the stacks up/ If I drop a hundred bands, I'ma get it right back up/ And if I fall it don’t matter, I'ma ball get the bag, yeah," she asserts.

Cordae arrives for an extended assist around the 2:30 mark. With his newfound fame, the Maryland native has been searching for love without the "ratchet shit." "Tryna find love, so I'm navigatin'/ Shower you with gifts, oversaturation/ But I can't seem to find love without the ratchet shit/ This gold dream of mine, why am I attached to this?/ But happiness is when you glad in bliss/ And the cash and shit is a catalyst," YBN rhymes.

H.E.R. also delivered an evocative duet at the 2019 BET Awards on Sunday (June 23).
