Gucci Mane Puts Trap Spin On UT Austin’s ‘The Eyes of Texas’ Spirit Song on ‘Tonight Show’: Watch

On the heels of dropping Woptober II, Gucci Mane headed to the heart of Austin, Texas, for a special edition of The Tonight Show on Thursday night (Nov. 7). With UT Austin students filling the venue, Guwop put a trap spin on the school's "The Eyes of Texas" spirit song.
In a dapper red Gucci Jacket, the ATL native mixed in some flashy rhymes with the university's original. "I ate a million for lunch, half a million for breakfast/ Everything bigger in Texas that's why I bought this necklace," he rhymed with some help from house band The Roots.
Prior to the performance, Gucci gave out some solid advice to the kids in attendance. "I feel like I'm Uncle Gucci to these beautiful young students. To all these beautiful students out here, I wanna just tell y'all to be mindful of the company you keep and surround yourself with positive people and keep people around you that's gonna support and encourage you," he said.
Guwop then returned to the stage to perform the J. White Did It-produced "Move Me" off Woptober II with everyone in the crowd swinging their glowsticks to the beat.
