Greyson Chance Becomes a Sparkling Desert Drifter in New ‘Boots’ Video

With the release of his latest album Portraits, Greyson Chance proved that he knows how to make a pop album out of some dark thoughts. But with his latest release, the singer is in pure celebration mode.

On Friday (Nov. 8), Chance released his new song and music video "Boots," a rollicking rock-pop banger where the star flexes on his detractors all while looking (and sounding) fabulous. "'Cause I've been western before all of these stars/ These stars in California who think that they are hard," he croons.

The video similarly sees Chance in fight-back mode, as he sports an array of chic cowboy-inspired outfits, the most eye-catching of which sees him in a chrome jacked and pants, grooving through the desert. When another cowboy arrives to challenge him, though, the two get into a tough scrap, leaving Chance bruised and bloodied, but victorious.

The song comes as the star continues the U.S. leg of his Portraits world tour, with upcoming shows in New York and Boston before he heads toward the West Coast. Tickets for the tour can be found here.
