Governors Ball Announces 2019 ‘After Dark’ Concerts: Dennis Lloyd, Noname & More

With Governors Ball less than two months away, the festival has shared the bill of artists playing its official after-show events, all held at nearby New York City venues.
The lineup features Dennis Lloyd at Irving Plaza, Noname at Brooklyn Bowl, Soccer Mommy at Brooklyn Bazaar, Sunflower Bean at Mercury Lounge, and several others.
The docket of shows, held at venues across Manhattan and Brooklyn, begins two days before Gov Ball — on Wednesday, May 29 — and wraps a day after, on Monday, June 3.
Tickets to these shows go on sale to the general public on April 19 at 10 am EST. Citi card members have pre-sale access starting today (April 16). Another pre-sale, for Governors Ball ticket holders, starts tomorrow (April 17) at 10 am EST.
Produced by Founders Entertainment, the ninth annual edition of Gov Ball is set for May 31 to June 2 at Randall’s Island Park. Headliners include Tyler, the Creator, Florence + the Machine, and the Strokes.
