Freddie Gibbs Channels A Nas 'Stillmatic' Fav For 'Big Boss Rabbit' Video

For his first post-Grammy single, Freddie Gibbs gives his Best Rap Album Grammy champ a nod by sampling Nas’ 2001 Stillmatic album cut “You’re Da Man,” produced by his longtime collaborator Large Professor.

“Seen my first crackhead like that Beamer back in ’91 (Bitch)/And I been on the blaze since 2Pac was rockin’ the Gumby fade (Yeah)/Fuckin’ up my cup with this Activis like some lemonade/Bitches big B-L, if you violate, you’re a renegade,” he spits on his Swaggyono-produced version with the raunchy video directed by JMP.

When he’s not releasing records, Gibbs is apparently an Instagram lurker. In a recent interview profile with GQ, the Alfredo co-creator revealed he has a secret account designed strictly to ridicule the competition.

“I’ve been doing songs with those n-ggas lately, so I’ve been taking notes,” Gibbs says. “You’re never too old to learn. N-ggas become irrelevant because they stop learning and being sponges to the game. I eat, sleep, and breathe this shit, every day. I’m looking at what everybody’s doing. I’m getting on fake Instagram pages leaving comments like, ‘That shit is wack.’ I’m doing all kinds of bullshit, taunting people.”
