Florence + The Machine Unplugs For NPR Tiny Desk: Watch


Florence + The Machine stopped by NPR's Tiny Desk to present a euphoric rendition of songs from her 2018 High As Hope album. 

The band opened with "June," the intro music from High As Hope, with frontwoman Florence Welch draped in a turquoise and gold gown. Welch's silky voice stuffed the small room as she closed her eyes and clapped to the melody.

Next was "Patricia," with Welch delivering her trademark chilling vocals and effortlessly dipping between excessive and low notes.

"I'm sorry I'm shy, if this was a giant gig I'd most likely be climbing throughout right here, however I'm so nervous," the indie rock singer admitted mid-performance.

FATM ended with the upbeat "Ship to Wreck" observe from 2015's How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful album, as Welch slowly swayed in entrance of the microphone.
