Farruko Changes His Plea to Guilty After Airport Arrest

On April 2, 2018, Farruko (born Carlos Efren Reyes Rosado) was arrested on the Isla Grande airport after he was discovered with greater than $50,000 in his suitcases and footwear. At the time, he was flying from the Dominican Republic to Puerto Rico and reported that he didn't have greater than $10,000 on the immigration sheet.

According to a report by El Nuevo Dia newspaper, Farruko’s lawyer, Allan Rivera Fern√°ndez, requested the change in a movement submitted to federal decide Gustavo Gelp√≠.

"Upon the conclusion of the negotiations (with the prosecution), the defendant notifies the courtroom of his choice to alter his plea from not responsible to responsible," the movement mentioned.

After the request, Judge Gelpí set a listening to for Thursday in his courtroom within the Federal Court of Old San Juan.

Billboard contacted Farruko’s reps and so they don't have any additional feedback.
