Ex-Heat Teammate Says LeBron James Straight Quit During 2011 Finals Vs. Mavericks

LeBron James's first trip to the NBA Finals with the Miami Heat didn't go well.

The Heat fell in six games to Dallas Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki. James didn't play well, averaging an uncharacteristically low 17.8 points a game in the series and laying an eight-point egg in the pivotal game four.

His teammate at the time Eddie House thinks he quit on the team.

House retired after the series, so he didn't get the chance to play on the Heat teams that James led to Finals wins.
