Billboard Dance hosted its debut showcase Ones to Watch Live on Wednesday at 1720 in Los Angeles to a sold-out crowd that roared from beginning to end. The event, presented by Brownies & Lemonade, spotlighted five electronic upstarts that have been previously featured on Billboard Dance's monthly discovery series, "Ones to Watch," along with a secret guest revealed at the end of the night.
The showcase kicked off with Chicago DJ/producer INZO, who made his Los Angeles debut on Wednesday night. Known for his lush, bubbly future bass soundscapes, he set a warm and inviting atmosphere for Foreign Family artist, ford., who followed. The French-born, U.S.-based artist announced Friday (March 22) that he'll be joining ODESZA for their final show of the A Moment Apart tour, which will be taking place at Los Angeles State Historic Park.
Singer-songwriter Elley Duhé, best known for her features on Zedd's "Happy Now" and Gryffin's "Tie Me Down," took the stage after ford. to deliver an exciting live performance. It was her Brownies & Lemonade debut, as well as Golden Features' who performed after her. His travels in the preceding 24 hours took him from Australia to Mexico to Los Angeles.
