Dreamville’s Bas Teases J. Cole’s ‘The Off-Season’ Releasing In May & Fans Freak Out

J. Cole has laid low for much of 2021, but fans haven’t forgotten about his vague checklist at the end of 2020. Bas sounded the Dreamville alarms on Wednesday night (April 28) when he tweeted and then deleted a photo of J. Cole locked in the studio and also teased The Off-Season for a May arrival.

“[Mind blown emojis] The Off-Season. pack your bags. [rocket emoji] in two weeks,” Bas wrote.

The post sent Cole fans into a craze and it was further solidified when fellow Dreamville signee Cozz liked it as well. J. Cole’s December checklist featured The Off-Season, It’s A Boy, and then another album titled The Fall Off, which Cole’s manager IB teased earlier this year on the set of a video shoot.

I still got some goals I gotta check off for’ I scram,” the North Carolina legend teased while hinting at possibly hanging up his mic after the list is finished.

Of course, fans couldn’t contain their excitement when they heard the news of Cole dropping another album as this April marks three years since his last LP KOD.

‘If you’re fcking with me im never forgiving you @Bas also you liked the post so you just as guilty @cody_macc,” one fan responded on Twitter.
