Los Angeles, CA – To say Drake went all-out to celebrate winning Artist of the Decade at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 23) would be an understatement.

According to Variety, Drizzy rented out Inglewood’s entire 70,000 capacity SoFi Stadium for the night and hosted a dinner right on the 50-yard line. Star-studded guests in attendance reportedly included The Weeknd, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, Doja Cat, SZA and many others, along with his son Adonis and close family and friends.

SoFi Stadium serves as the home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers after opening in September 2020.

E! reports Drake started his night at the Nice Guy restaurant in West Hollywood before heading to SoFi Stadium.

“He rented the entire stadium for the night,” a source said. “The stadium has a gigantic banner with his name and ‘Artist of the Decade.’ There are huge champagne towers and several bars set up throughout the stadium. Drake also has cute album books featuring his favorite moments through his career set up around the stadium.”

The 6 God also took to Instagram to share some photos from the occasion.

Drake gave a humble speech at the Billboard Music Awards on stage with his son, which marked their first public appearance together.

“I’m really self-conscious about my music, and even if I do a good job, I always wonder how I could have done it better,” he said. “I rarely celebrate anything. And just for anyone watching this that’s wondering how this happened, that’s really the answer: it’s being so unsure how you’re getting it done that you just kind of keep going in the hopes of figuring out the formula. Feeling so lucky and blessed that the fear of losing it keeps you up at night.”

He continued, “I didn’t really write a grandiose speech about how to make it work or what it took, ’cause to be really honest with you I don’t quite understand it myself. I just know I’ve spent an incalculable amount of hours tryna analyze all of the things I did wrong, but tonight, for once, I’m sure as hell we did something right.”

If Drake doesn’t celebrate much, he certainly made up for it by renting out an entire stadium for himself.
