Drake took some time out of his London performance Monday night (April 1) at The O2 Arena to reflect on the tragic loss of Nipsey Hussle to gun violence.
"Somebody that provided for his people. Somebody that always treated you with respect when he saw you. Somebody that demanded respect when he walked in a room," Drizzy said to the crowd. "So, I really just wanna do this shot for Nip tonight and I just want everybody to look around and be grateful and happy that we're all here together alive and well because life can end at any moment.
The 6 God ended his genuine tribute with a cheers to Nip. "I just want to say I love you, I'm thankful to be here with you tonight. London, as long as you'll have me back I'll stand in the middle of this building and I'll give you everything I fucking got. Cheers my brother. Rest easy, my G."
The pair previously collaborated on Nip's Bullets Ain't Got No Name Vol. 3 cut "Killer" in 2009.
Drizzy also gave the London audience a first glance at the trailer for the upcoming 10-episode season of Neflix's Top Boy, which he bought the rights to in 2017.
