Country guitar legend and Hee Haw host Roy Clark died Thursday (Nov. 15), and superstars together with Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and extra shared reminiscences of the late nation star.
"Roy Clark was one of many biggest ever," Parton mentioned in an emailed assertion. "His spirit won't ever die. I cherished him dearly and he can be missed."
"Roy Clark formed my path," Paisley tweeted. "My Papaw launched me to his music as a toddler. Every Saturday we’d watch Hee Haw. My first guitar guide was a Roy Clark guitar methodology. I practiced his type, then practiced making his facial expressions. He was a hero. And so many have the identical story."
Keith Urban additionally shared his story of the legendary guitarist Twitter. "My first CMA reminiscence is sitting on my lounge ground watching Roy Clark tear it up. Sending my love and respect to him and his household for all he did," he wrote.
"Rest In Peace good friend, brother, mentor Roy Clark," wrote The Oak Ridge Boys in a tweet.
