Doja Cat has been accused of stealing Rolling Ray’s viral “It’s giving” catchphrase as part of launching her new website and clothing brand.

Ahead of the website’s launch, Doja shared a voice note earlier this week where she said: “It was supposed to give but it did not give what needed to be gave to the highest of giving.”

The website is also titled ItsGivingWebsite.com and has a capsule collection using “It’s Giving” across an array of merchandise. An array of items from hats to shorts and t-shirts are currently available for purchase.

Paperwork has circulated on Twitter showing that Doja Cat filed a trademark for the “It’s Giving” catchphrase last year.

“This bitch said let me steal from this handicap Black bitch & copyrighted my saying uh whole year ago !! Lord I’m tired of fighting,” Rolling Ray tweeted.

The MTV Catfish: Trolls star initially went viral for the “It’s giving” catchphrase when he commented on the Popeye’s chicken sandwich craze during the summer of 2019.

“It’s not even giving what y’all said it was supposed to gave, no, I wasted my money,” he said. “So, send me my money back, now!”

Doja Cat’s fan base has since taken to social media to defend the Grammy-winning star from any criticism regarding the Rolling Ray controversy.

“I promise you Doja was not thinking about Rolling Ray when founding her clothing line. Please be so serious,” one fan said.

Doja Cat has faced a bevy of criticism this past month, including after she shaved her head and eyebrows off for the world to see.

“I won a grammy and traveled the fucking globe i’ve had a #1 and i went platinum,” she wrote. “I make hit after hit after hit and you all want me to look fuckable for you so that you can go home and jerk your cocks all day long while you live in your mothers basement. Go fuck yourselves.”

Meanwhile, Doja Cat is among the nominees for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, which were announced last month.

Kendrick Lamar, Jack Harlow and Lil Nas X lead all artists with seven nominations each, followed by Doja with six nods. Drake and The Weeknd are both up for five awards, while Cardi B, Future and Baby Keem have four nods.

Other nominees include Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Pusha T, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, JID, Doechii, SZA and Latto.
