DJ Khaled Talks 'Top Secret' Video Shoot, Trademarking Son Asahd's Name: Watch

DJ Khaled paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! Friday night (June 15), where he discussed his upcoming album, a secret music video shoot, and trademarking his son Asahd's name.

In March, Khaled revealed that his upcoming 11th studio album will be titled Father Asahd, after his toddler son, who will also serve as executive producer. Khaled said his son will be directing a "top secret" video shoot for a song on the new album.

"We got a top secret video shoot coming up," the DJ said, adding that Asahd will be directing the video. "It's about greatness. I can't give you all the info yet."

The hip-hop star also addressed his attempt to trademark his son's name. As previously reported, Khaled filed a lawsuit against a company seeking its own trademark registrations for Asahd, Asahd Couture, and A.S.A.H.D A Son And His Dad.

"There are people out there who are trying to steal his name," he said. "We're blessed that Asahd is a young icon. People want to sell T-shirts and stuff with Asahd's name on it. It's a blessing that people got love. I don't want nobody to disrespect my family or my son. I have to do what I got to do to protect the family or my son, and keep the pirates away."
