Diddy is throwing a dance party this Easter Sunday and everyone’s invited.
The hip-hop mogul is bringing the feel-good vibes to fans during quarantine with his first-ever Dance-A-Thon on Instagram Live. “We are having the WORLD’S BIGGEST DANCE-A-THON and YOU ARE ALL INVITED!!!!” he told his 16 million followers.
And it promises to be a star-studded affair. Sunday’s livestream, presented by Team Love, will feature appearances from some of Diddy’s famous friends including Drake, Chris Brown, Oprah Winfrey, Justin Bieber, and even his ex Jennifer Lopez. The guest list also includes A-listers like Will Smith, Alicia Keys, Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Ciara, Janelle Monáe, and more.
The party won’t be without a purpose. Diddy will be raising money for healthcare workers to assist with coronavirus relief efforts. “We are raising much needed money for our healthcare workers in the underserved communities around the country!” he said.
He also got on the phone with Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri to discuss his big party plans. “I need you to make sure nothing breaks down,” he said. “It’s my responsibility to warn you that when I throw a Diddy party, everybody shows up.”
The live Dance-A-Thon kicks off today at 3 p.m. EST on Diddy’s Instagram. “Let’s show out for our front line healthcare workers!!!!” said Puff.
The Bad Boy tycoon recently hosted a “State of Emergency” on Revolt to discuss how the coronavirus is disproportionately impacting the African-American community. “We are in a life or death state of emergency,” he said. “We are in trouble my people. We have to come together. We have to communicate.”
