Diddy Celebrates ‘Biggie Day’ on Anniversary of the Notorious B.I.G.’s Death

Twenty-two years after the homicide of the Notorious B.I.G., Sean "Diddy" Combs is paying tribute to the late rapper. Diddy shared a photograph and message in his buddy Biggie's honor on Instagram Saturday (March 9).

"There will NEVER be one other," he wrote.

"The GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME," Diddy mentioned. "Today we rejoice and honor you king. Love and miss you!!!!!!!!! Happy Biggie Day!"

The Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, died in a drive-by capturing in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997, when he was solely 24 years outdated. His killer was by no means discovered.

Before his dying he'd launched just one album, 1994's Ready to Die. Life After Death, his posthumous double album, got here simply over two weeks after he handed away.
