Demi Lovato canceled her concert at London's O2 Arena on Sunday (June 10) after falling ill. Just hours before she was set to hit the stage, the 25-year-old pop star broke the news to her U.K. fans on social media.

“I write this through tears frustration and sadness that I have to postponed my concert tonight due to being very, very sick and with swollen vocal cords," Lovato wrote on Instagram. “If I go on tonight and injure my vocal cords any more I could potentially have to cancel the rest the tour."

She added, “I’m so, so sorry to disappoint any my fans in London that have travelled hours to be here by plane or car and to all the fans that got these tickets for a special occasion.”

Lovato's London concert has been rescheduled for June 25, according to the O2's website.

"Unfortunately due to illness, tonight’s Demi Lovato show at the O2 has had to be postponed," reads a statement from the venue. "The show will now take place on Monday June 25th. All tickets will remain valid for the new date."

The singer's next performance is scheduled for the U.K.'s Arena Birmingham on June 12.
