Dean Lewis Hits No. 1 on Emerging Artists Chart, Thanks to Breakout Single ‘Be Alright’


Plus, Claypool Lennon Delirium debuts at No. 2.

Singer-songwriter Dean Lewis tops Billboard'Emerging Artists chart (dated March 9) for the primary time on the energy of his breakout single "Be Alright," which reaches a brand new Billboard Hot 100 peak at No. 29.

He succeeds Ava Max atop Emerging Artists, as, per chart guidelines, she graduates from the checklist as her debut hit "Sweet But Psycho" reaches the highest 25 of the Hot 100 (No. 24).

"Be Alright" holds at its No. Four Adult Pop Songs peak and jumps 19-16 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart, up 10 % to 45.9 million in airplay viewers, in response to Nielsen Music.

Claypool Lennon Delirium debuts at No. 2. The duo, consisting of Sean Lennon and Primus vocalist Les Claypool, debuts its second LP, South of Reality, at No. 6 on the Alternative Albums chart and No. 88 on the Billboard 200 with 9,000 equal album items.

Rounding out the Emerging Artists chart's high 5, Lauv holds at No. three, City Girls rise 5-Four and Louis Tomlinson jumps 9-5.
