Dead & Company Add Run Of Fall Shows


You know the music never stops. Dead & Company announced a new string of fall tour dates on the East Coast, which will bring the legendary jam band to New York and Virginia in late October and November for more good vibes.

The fun will kick off on Halloween (Oct. 31) with the first of two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York, followed by a Nov. 1 MSG gig and then two nights at Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia on Nov. 8 and 9. Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting Aug. 23 at 10:00 a.m. local time here. Fan Registration will be available through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program now through Sunday (Aug. 18) here.

Tthe group is made up of Grateful Dead members guitarist/singer Bob Weir, drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, guitarist Oteil Burbridge, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and singer/guitarist John Mayer.

If you can't catch the group on any of those dates, they will be setting up camp at Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico for a four-day getaway (Jan 16-19), Playing in the Sand, during which they will play three shows on the beach for superfans.

Billboard Boxscore recently reported that the group added $29.8 million to its 2019 tour total with new reports for 12 shows, helping them top the Hot Tours tally. In all, their summer trek grossed $40.9 million and sold 486,917 tickets.
