K-pop’s consistent rock outfit have landed every one of their Korean releases in the top 10 of World Albums.
DAY6's latest batch of Korean pop-rock continues the band's consistency on the charts.
The band's newly released The Book of Gravity: Us EP debuts at No. 9 on Billboard's World Albums chart and is the biggest debut for the tally this week. The set sold 1,000 copies in the week ending July 18, according to Nielsen Music, with this total representing their fourth-best sales week in America to date. In their chart history, DAY6 has hit as high as No. 2 on World Albums when their very-first EP, The Day, made a major splash for the band by starting at No. 2 upon their fall 2015 debut.
The Book of Gravity: Us also opens at No. 20 on Heatseekers Albums, a chart that sees far fewer Korean acts enter. To date, DAY6 has only landed on Heatseekers once before when their Shoot Me: Youth Part 1 EP hit No. 16 last year. To date, Youth Part 1 represents both DAY6's best position on the chart and the album that earned their best sales week yet in America.
Altogether, the Top 10 debut for The Book of Gravity: Us continues the group's consistent performance on World Albums, where the group has yet to miss the Top 10 for any of their seven Korean releases.
