David Bowie's Son Shares Tribute to Nicolas Roeg: 'Thank You For Making So Many Brave Choices'


Nicolas Roeg directed David Bowie in his first main onscreen efficiency, 1976's The Man Who Fell to Earth, which had the Star Man making the leap from singing about guests from outer house to portraying one within the characteristic movie. 

Roeg died on Nov. 24 on the age of 90, and Bowie's son, Duncan Jones — a filmmaker himself — shared a fond remembrance of the acclaimed director shortly after receiving information of his passing.

Jones was a younger boy when manufacturing commenced for The Man Who Fell to Earth in 1975, and he posted a photograph of him together with his father — seen right here sporting the coiffure he wore within the movie, a nonetheless of which was later used for his Low album cowl — and Roeg on set, together with a heartfelt message praising the director for his genius and "courageous selections."
