Courtney Barnett Rocks 'Late Night' With 'Crippling Self-Doubt and a General Lack Of Confidence'

Courtney Barnett performed “Crippling Self-Doubt and a General Lack of Confidence” from her album Tell Me How You Really Feel on Seth Meyers Monday evening (Oct. 22).

The 30-year-old singer, recognized for her deadpan vocals and quirky lyrics, successfully channeled a ’90s rock band sound all through the efficiency. “Yeah they are saying whoever pays/ The piper calls the tune/ Oh, let's keep away from the reality/ Make you all really feel particular,” she sang whereas strumming her left-handed guitar, which matched the stage lights.

“I don't know, I don't know something/ I don't owe, I don't owe something,” Barnett continued, then broke into a short guitar solo that acted as a bridge, giving it her all.
