Charlie Puth can still rock an early morning show on one hour sleep. That's just the way he is.
The "Attention" singer showed his loyal fans a lot love at Rockefeller Plaza this morning (July 20), performing on the Citi Summer Concert Series on NBC's Today -- despite only getting a mere hour sleep the night before.
Fresh f his second studio effort Voicenotes, released May 11, Puth performed fan favorites "Attention," "The Way I Am" and "How Long." Puth took time to walk around the stage during commercial breaks and give attention to his army fans, many waiting during the pre-dawn hours to get up close to the heartthrob.
The pop sensation spoke to the Today co-hosts about the authenticity within Voicenotes, an album that he says "is one hundred percent me. I had to figure out my artistic career in front millions people."
Puth doesn't have much time to rest, as the Voicenotes Tour -- which features Hailee Steinfeld as support -- is sweeping across the States this summer. Fortunately for Puth, his Today appearance came on a (rare) day f, so he'll get at least a little chance to catch up on sleep. As he declared on Twitter after the performance, "Knocking out now..."
