Two months after Céline Dion canceled a series Las Vegas shows in order to undergo a “minimally invasive surgery,” the singer finally returned to Las Vegas Tuesday night (May 22) to perform at the Caesars Palace. Dion was welcomed back with a standing ovation.

“You know it’s been a while since we’ve done a show. I had a little health issue — don’t we all,” the Grammy award winner said to the crowd according to People. “But I have to tell you, I’m extremely happy to be back. The stage is kind my home away from home and I have to admit I can barely stand on my feet tonight as I am a little bit nervous.”

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer went on to perform all her hits including “I Surrender,” as well as her latest single “Ashes,” from the Deadpool 2 soundtrack, for the first time. “It’s definitely not a children’s movie,” Dion later said the film, “but the song I couldn’t resist. I wanted to record this song and I did. And it gives me pleasure to sing it for the first time.”

Dion was forced to cancel her shows in March and April due to a condition in her ear known as Patulous Estachian, which causes hearing irregularities. “Not everyone has the privilege to do what they love in life,” Dion said to the crowd, "so thank you for the privilege.”
